Say what you need to say, B.J.! I think only having resolutions when you feel compelled to make them is a great idea. I was telling Michelle earlier today that my One Little Word turned out to be "flexibility." I wouldn't have picked it, but it picked me :-)

Yes, I usually don't make resolutions, but this one I felt strongly. I'm determined! Ha! Flexibility is a good word to have picked you!

Wonderful, B.J.! May the words flow, fueled by your optimism and energy! (Are you on Pinterest? They keep sending me all these possible journal pins with prompts and new journal styles--like Bullet Journals, which you might enjoy... or not. You probably have enough ideas of your own!)

Hi Carol! I write everything in longhand in journals first, then type it all up. Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!

The idea if a writing resolution and a commitment to ever more words is a statement of most positive intent BJ. The promise of bulging notebooks and pages filled with promise and truth would seem to me to be something worth pursuing. Best wishes for 2018 and may your writing life be fulfilling.

Thanks for stopping by, Alan! I'm trying to get my novel written, to be honest. I write everything in longhand first in journals, then type it into word.

I'm not much for resolutions either, BJ, so let's just call them short-term goals -- and I'm on board with yours! Wishing you (and all of us) a literarily productive 2018!

I'm with you on the journals, B.J. I started using a sloppy bullet journal about 18 months ago. For 2018, I am trying the recommended BuJo and seeing if it will help with my resolution to be more organized. Happy New Year!

I'll have to look at the BuJo. I just ordered another journal from Peter Pauper Press. They make the best journals I have found yet, with archival paper that is yummy to write on! Happy journaling!
